Mingle-Mangle

My journey into photography began as a hobby. It all started with classic landscape photography. Like a lonely artist in the lonely landscape, I roamed through forests and fields in the spirit of romanticism to capture the best impressions. When I rejected this genre to Kitsch, I turned more and more to abstract imagery in the spirit of pictorialism. It was only within my studies that I developed a keen interest in people and society. My photographic practice turned its focus to documentary, staged and portrait photography, where it stayed till today. In the meantime, I find landscapes okay again. Abstraction is also fully acceptable.

This photo mingle-mangle is to pay tribute to all that. It contains old and new photographs, which come from different genres and styles. They are presented here without context. Enjoy yourself browsing through.
